NEWS: The internet is not safe

I often forget that because the Internet is the same everywhere, anyone can read what you post. I mean I don’t FORGET, I think about it all the time. I think about how cool the universality of the Internet is. But let me tell you, it is also EVIL. You can get supremely burned over something you wrote. Half of the time I forget this (the other half I’m too wasted to care jkjkjkjk). So what should you do? Blog anonymously? Maybe. People do that. It’s a little too late for me. If it is for you too, here are some guidelines I read this week that seem to be a good place to start.

General Rules of the Internet:
  1. Never post anything you wouldn’t want the potential boss at your dream job to read.
  2. Never post something that you wouldn’t want the mother of the person you are in love with to read.
  3. Never post something that you wouldn’t want to be grilled about if you chose to run for public office.
